Mountable Recovery for your business-critical data is available remotely at MUSA's failover site located in a SAS 70 Type II data center. Replicated VMs are stored in our data center, eliminating the need for tape backups and the maintenance of your own secure storage location - reducing expenses and overhead.
If you are moving to Veeam, we can handle the implementation or provide support to your staff during the process. If your production server goes down, but you're in need of valuable business-critical data, we'll replicate your data at our failover location for you to access remotely. Upon succesful recovery, we'll load the entirety of your environment onto portable storage for a full on-site restoration of business-critical and non-critical data by your IT staff or our Veeam specialists.
Requirements:
- • VMware and Veeam (VMware and Veeam licenses and setup available from MUSA)
- • DR/BC procedures prepared
- • Critical systems identified
- • RTO and RPO requirements identified
Initial set-up:
- • Two (2) active directory accounts (Do NOT expire)
- • Secure connection – VPN preferred
- • Portable hard drive provided for full backup
- • Drive is shipped with backup, received and loaded into the secure DR/BC environment
- • Data sync is performed
- • Continuous backups are established and tested over a secure connection to your environment
- • Establishment of accounts for access when mounted recovery occurs
- • Initial test of mountable recovery environment
- • Develop recovery and continuity plans and procedures
Ongoing:
- • Replicated systems stored in an offsite location
- • Backups of non-critical systems copied to our datacenter for complete coverage
- • Bi-annual tests without disruption of current infrastructure
In the Event of a Disaster:
- • Business-critical functions will be restored at MUSA's failover location
- • Access granted by secure VPN or SSL
- • Backups are shipped from MUSA's data center back to you for a full on-site restoration of both business-critical and and non-business-critical environments
*Backup files are only mounted and available remotely in the event of a disaster requiring failover
